Prime 95 question

So I'm building this Athlon 64 Toaster box for my niece. It is not overclocked. I want to stress test it using Prime 95. I choose Blend mode and let her rip. I see that it's using memory all over the board, but the CPU is hardly stressed at all. It's hardly use even 10% of the CPU, I let it run like that over night and in the morning it's still hardly stressing the CPU. It uses memory in chunks constantly though. I tried small FFT and large FFT and those hogs the CPU 99% right away. What's the deal with the blend mode? I remembered it used to work for me before where it would hog most of the available memory and pegs the CPU 99% constantly.

Thanks.

I had the same problem..blend would get stuck in test 1 and not move further....not stressing the CPU at all..realised it was compatibility issues with the catalyst software from ATI...check this thread out....

I had to unistall the catalyst software and it ran fine..I dont know if u have catalyst installed or not..but people have run into issues with catatalyst versions 4.10 & 4.11(4.09 apparently okay)..I ran into problems with the uninstall though..had a lot of errors....had to reinstall windows..check this link out...
