is there any way to lower the price for all this?(im buying all from newegg)

A total of $960..is there anyway to make it cheaper? i plan to do video editing, play mid the high level gaming(unreal,HL2,CS) and upgrade to 3-4 gb of ram and maybe dual 6800gts( if i have the money) or just a second 6600gt.

do i really need all this or should i get a different mobo if so wut should i get i want pci-e. any sugestions?

I'd suggest...

Get a board with a single PCIe x16 slot and use the savings to get a better GPU (or simply pocket the cash if you don't need the power right now and upgrade to the next generation's midrange card when you need to).
Swap the Antec 550 for an OCZ 420 or something even less expensive, like a Seasonic, Enermax, or Fortron with the amperage you need. (A single GPU system or SLIed 6600GT system should take only about 22A on the 12V; not sure about the 3.3 and 5. If your PSU has ample power, don't be afraid to use 20-to-24-pin adapters.)

Gigabyte has one with 1394. If you can wait a little while there will probably be a considerably greater selection of boards--this is a very new chipset. If you don't mind just using a PCI card for that, Chaintech has an NF4U board as well.

Specifically, what kind of "expansion" are you talking about?

i want to do video editing so i need more drives dvd/hhd jus things to updated it new prosseor in 6 months when prices drop conderably.
