I'll be building a few computers for my old school. the price will be on cost+labour basis. I'll install Windows NT4.0, Microsoft Office 97 and Norton Anti-virus 2000 on these computers. Of course all of them will be academic edition.

On the hardware side, I'm very familiar with their prices. But I don't know academic prices of these softwares. I'll buy them from local retail software shops(with proof that I'm eligible to purchase the academic edition). The nearby shops that I know don't have stocks of these "old" softwares. (They only have win2k, office 2k)

I need to quote the price to my school very soon. So anybody can tell me what's the academic price of these softwares? I'll be more conservative about the pricing so please tell me the "list price" of these MS academic edition software.

Thanks!

I got Win2k for the college student price of $100. I don't know how much a bunch of license from MS would run. Why not ask MS?

Hem hem, you should go off to microsoft website because you don't seem to be aware that multiple user licenses exist and you ain't supposed to install one CD onto lots of computers. Of course, if it was my computers at home I wouldn't get caught, but in a school...
BTW the software store doesn't give a flying **** that you are a student. The software comes from a voucher inside the box which you send off, with a statement that you are a student/ teacher.

I'll install 8 comps in the school. Of course I'll buy 8 copies of each software. But I need to quote the system price to the school so I need to know the academic price of them.
