You can't hardly find a traditional case around Iowa anymore. All you can really find is the 30 pack "cube". The thirty pack runs about $14.50 + $1.50 in can deposits. You get the $1.50 back if you save the cans and turn them back in.
Friday morning my group (ASCE) went on a "field trip" to Vicksburg. After touring the Army corp of engineers facility, we went to a local Kroger and got some beer. A case of Bud light was $18.00 and a case of Old Milwaukie was $9.00.
We (18 people on the trip, 14 drinking) bought a total of seven cases of both bud and OM. There were only 8 cans left this morning 🙂
I got a 30-pack case of Coors Light cans at the PX at the local airbase a month ago for $12.99. It's usually $15.99 at the regular beer store. I am currently working on the last 6-pack of the 24-can case of Heineken cans that ran me $26.00.
