Price Drops

Price drops to a point, but people have been finding certain things going up steadily in price lately too (Opterons). It depends on what you want to do, but I would say you have a decent machine right now. You might want to upgrade your video card, but everything else seems pretty decent.
 
As the case is that the prices are always dropping, as new hardware is always coming out, it is a moot point. So get what you can, when you need it. Otherwise you will be waiting forever.

Pick a drop dead date and order your components no later than that.
