IBM 425SX/S Specifications:

Intel 80486SX Microprocessor
Overdrive socket (Upgradable to Pentium 83 MHz)
8 MB FPM DRAM
120 MB Hard Drive
Floppy Drive
Integrated Video
Intel LAN Adaptor
IBM Mouse, Keyboard

Windows 95 OSR2 Pre-Loaded
Also includes a never opened IBM-PC DOS 5 box

Any ideas on how much this thing is worth? (I know its a dinosaur 🙁 )

hmmm... thats more than I thought it would be worth. It has no monitor - I was thinking of selling it on my campus for about $10.

Probably less than what my PS/2 Model 77 is worth, and I got it for $15. Specs for the Model 77:

80486DX2/66
16MB RAM
210MB HDD
2.88MB FDD
Integrated S3 1MB Video
IBM LAN Adaptor
IBM Mouse
IBM Keyboard

Of course this had nothing on the HDD, but I don't think that has much to do with the worth of the system considering the age. About PC-DOS 5.0, any way I can get my hands on a copy of that? It'd be fun to mess with on that old Model 77.

Hmmm... lemme check.

The DOS box is rather interesting. Factory sealed in 1992 and never opened. 😀

I checked EB@Y, and someone is selling a PC-DOS 6.1 factory sealed for $9.95. No one has bid on the item. I wonder why 🙂
