Price check - HDTV

I'm thinking about listing my HDTV in a local free classified paper. It's a Magnavox 26MF605W. 26", 720p/1080i, used but great condition with an arm-style wall mount. How much do you think I should list it for? I paid a little under $1k for it in October, including the wall mount ($199).

Try posting this in the for sale and for trade section.

That would be the incorrect forum. It is only for actual FS/FT posts.

Technically price checks aren't allowed in Off Topic either. 😉 I wish I could help you though, but I have no idea how much HDTVs cost.

Brand new it's only $699 or so now, the arm really doesn't add much value since it's not required to run it. I'd say $500-$600 would be what you can expect to get for it.

That all depends on the Type or Technology of the display, the brand, the size, and the age. I certainly would not pay more than $400 for a large first generation plasma and even less for an LCD.
