Previously viewed DVDs 2 for $25 @ Hollywood Video

Not a bad deal. They had a decent selection with movies like K-PAX, Vanilla Sky, The Others, Ocean's 11, Harry Potter, Rush Hour 2, Thirteen Ghosts, Rollerball, The Mexican, and about two dozen others. I picked up Harry Potter and Iron Monkey, but when they got rung up they were only $10 each, so it came out to LESS than the advertised special....

Either way it's still not bad.

I picked up Rush Hour 2 @ $10 and Pearl Harbor/Fast and the Furious @ 2 for $25.

Good deal IMO. Lifetime warranty on the discs.

you can also get most dvd movies used at half.com for $10 or less.

Not a bad deal. Hollywood Video had a deal similar to this last year, except it was only $9.99 for each DVD. I think I'll wait for that again.

That's true about Half.com, but you never know the quality of the discs you're going to get, you don't always get the original case, and by the time you put in shipping, it might be the same price as Hollywood.

I have gotten a lot of great deals on Half, though, particularly on the Farscape DVDs.

I just hope they bring back those .99 cents rental coupons ! Lot of new releases too be seen.

Want more than two DVDs? Look for threads about Columbia House DVD Club, or go here. I just signed up... it averages out to around $9 each for 8 DVDs -- all brand new!

The Hollywood Video closest to my house had this same deal. BUT, one about 10 minutes away had buy any 2 previously viewed DVDs for only $20. So I picked up Fast and the Furious and American Pie 2 for only $20. Good Deal! YMMV.
