A very good friend of mine's sister received a knock on the door the other day and it was the FBI.
They told her that the person who lived in her place previously was one of the terrorists that flew a plane into one of the World Trade Towers. :Q
They searched the house and took the mail they had recieved that was intended for him. The question I ask myself is, "Could I keep living there?".
I mean she sleeps where he slept, eats where he ate. I don't think I could do it. Any thoughts? Would you find another place or just deal? I don't think I'd stay.

BTW: She said most of the guys mail was in Arabic, but a few other pieces were Muslim religious literature in English.

Why not? Afraid of getting suicidal or getting dreams about flying planes into tall buildings? Can you say 'superstitious behaviour'?

Not being superstitous, just having a hard time stomaching the fact that one of those b*st*rds lived there.

<< Hey, they had to live somewhere. >>

I know that, but would you want to live there afterward?

<< Hey, they had to live somewhere. >>

Indeed, 'criminals' can live anywhere. One of the houses you've lived in or have visited might once have been the house of a serial killer. The seat you take in the bus, train or airplane might have been the same seat a terrorist, murderer or thief might have used. The stones you walk on in the streets might be the same stones a murderer or rapist walked on.

The only place where such a criminal lives on is in your head. If a terrorist used to live in your house, why should you care? It's your house, no traces of the terrorist remained. It's just a house with its own history.

I fail to see the logic behind your reasoning: a terrorist lived in this house, thus it's a bad place to live.

I'm not talking about logic here. Of course there is nothing really wrong with living there, there's no ghost or anything. It would just *feel* weird, to me anyway.

BTW, traces do remain, he still gets mail there. For now anyway.

Be happy with the fact of knowing that he's now dead and won't come back to his home to get anything..

Got proof? Forgive me for being a non-believer or for questioning your truthfullness but this is the internet and people tend to make up stories for attention when they don't expect to be called on it. What city doesshe live in,whats her street name, anything that may add a bit of credibility to your story.

I totally know what you mean. I didn't get the details because she had to go to work but I will ask her next week when I see her and I'll post them.

<< i dont get it, how did they get there email from her house? >>

It's regular US Mail.
