previous "HOTDEAL" dslmonster was a fraud

I am justifying this to be posted here simply because some guy listed this as a hot deal a couple months ago, and this is a service to anyone who took 'advantage' of the deal.

Alot of us told you it was fake and a scam, but some of you may not have followed our advice.

Anyone who gave these guys money can find more info here:

we at dslreports told you so

<< Detective Shelton informed us that he believes Dyer has fled the area. Dyer supposedly had a New Jersey driver's license, but New Jersey law prohibits releasing the photo. Detective Shelton has asked that if any employee or customer has a photo of Dyer, to please contact him at either RSHEL@CI.carlsbad.ca.us or call him at 760-931-2147. NJ law prohibits releasing photos to (other) law enforcement agencies? That's screwed up.

What I want to know is how does a guy in NJ setup a fake DSL service provider in southern california? One hell of a lot of plane flights I guess. I also feel sorry for all the people he ripped off. Life sucks and people don't care.

I will get flamed for this.

whatever...

It still amazes me that people fall for this kind of stuff...

People were warned (just as they were with the $525 Sony laptop deal) yet they still attempt to get the deal. And then they wine and complain. "I can't beleve that I didn't get the deal... They ripped me off....Lets get that company... I used my Amex, so at least I am protected."

Smack them with a clue-by-four please.

End of rant. I feel better now.

<< whatever happened to those $500 Sony laptops that people thought were a fraud? >>

Those weren't a fraud. I ended up buying like 17 of them for friends and ebaying. I've got 3 on my desk right now for code development and web work. Totally ripping hot deal...

🙂 I wish...

Yeah, whatever happend with those laptops? Vaio's weren't they? I feel bad for anyone getting ripped on this deal. Hope they catch the jerk. -TAL 🙁

jeep, I agree with you 100%. There are always risks involved in hot deals. If you can't take the heat, get out of the fire. I would never sign up with a place like that w/o checking on their credentials first.

<< ...and the moral of the story? if it sounds too good to be true, it is. >>

unless u see it for sale by SpankyOO7 😀

They cap DSL upload rates to 90kbps too. It's a messed up state. Damn democrats. 😉
