edit err, I had that backwards. Class 1 is the shorter range, Class 2 is the longer range.

No you were correct initially. Class 1 is 100m and Class 2 is 10m. The OP has this backwards too in his post.

I help my comment is not considered OT, just something I wanted to ask about the BT thingy:
I saw a post about Mobile action MA-720 . what does that adaptor has that this doesn't?

Does it enable me to connect to my pc via the headset while accessing the web from my cell at the SAME time?

Looks to me that it has some additional software that comes with it that is programmed for some 50ish phones. Perhaps it's good software or perhaps it's crap - I can't tell you that, unfortunately.

I've had good luck with zonet in the past -- might have to get another one of these (gave mine to a friend for b-day).

If you got a Class 1 (100M) device for use with say a mobile phone or a headset or something, it really wouldn't make sense as they are all Class 2 (for power consumption reasons), someone made a good analogy of it somewhere, if you throw a baseball to your baby brother who is 100 M away and he somehow caught it, it wouldn't matter cause if he threw it it'd barely make it 10M back.

if they are class 2 shouldn't the range of those devices be 100M?
