looks like a great deal. It has both dvi and vga (D-SUB 15 pin in) inputs. Would make for a nice secondary screen to my computer (for watching divx movies or streaming tv shows). 12ms won't ghost so I could try gaming, but the low res (1366 x 768) wouldn't be all that great.

anyone have any idea on the quality? I was really hoping to buy a 42" hdtv lcd by christmas for myself, but i guess a 32" at this price can hold me over until next year.

I just saw this in my buy.com email; this is hot even for a no name... Also if you use google checkout it comes out to 499.99 shipped... Must resist!

HSN had these for sale awhile ago at $1299 apparently, and the reviews indicate everyone loves the TV.

Also, the best price I think you can get on this would be to use Fatcash, $15 off $200 for new customers and then sign up for a new Buy.COM VISA for a total of $45 off or $474.99 shipped with $4.75 Fatcash back. 🙂

Anyone know if this will be able to do over the air HD signals? or whatever the technology is called; a little new to Hd myself...

Thanks

Thanks

you will need an hd tuner, this comes with a sd (standard def.) tuner.

Just posted this and then saw this thread. Anyways, anyone got any idea of the quality of this thing?

That was an older model maybe but hopefully the quality is equal or better.

HSN reviews

BTW, the speakers are removable... a bonus.

hdmi-dvi adapter loses alot of quality?

Good question. I can't speak from experience however, according to adapter vendors, it should be the same.

Link to HDMi/DVI adapter

Cobalt cable

Will this adapter hurt or degrade my video quality?

Absolutely not. Since DVI-D and HDMI are digital video connections, they will pass through our HDMI/DVI adapter flawlessly. This adapter will not affect the quality of the HDMI/DVI signal in any way. Guaranteed.

It does have a coaxial port as i can see. But does anybody know if this is better than the one at frys (emprex). Also does it have audio out for home theater system

I picked one up last night, it's on it's way to the warehouse...

It looks like the lack of HDMI isn't a big deal because DVI is exactly the same video quality; the only perk about HDMI is it can carry audio as well...
