The rebate is $110, not $150.

Also, is there a way to find out if there's any SATA connections, and what the motherboard is?

Not bad, but better deal just expired. Two day sale for thanksgiving. Same config except memory 256MB but includes 15 inch Flat panel for $548 - $100 rebate = $448 shipped to KY (includes tax). I ordered two.

I'd really like to show this to my brother, but would like to see what the motherboard is. Do you know what it has for upgrade slots and what the video is? $424 with 512MB is pretty good, especially if you don't need a monitor.

By the way, it says you can get a 15" flat panel for the price of a 17" monitor. But it's not clear what that means dollar-wise.

Without an AGP slot this is not hot, at least in my book it's not hot. Bummer. The hope was to pay the money up front, save a bit, then get a decent video card to make the system agreeable to gaming. Looks like that won't happen. Gee, how much money could they have saved by not having an AGP slot?

I did the $534 with 512MB setup (before taxes and shipping), expecting to get the $110 rebate later. However, the webpage says the price is $644 - $110 = $534.

Will I be able to get another $110 off via a rebate, or is the $110 that lowered the price from $644 the only one I can get?

Thank you in advance.

<Edit: Nevermind, the rebate is $150 and comes in addition to the $110 discount. Good news.>

OK, I think I figured this out. The $110 figure is an immediate discount applied before payment. In the detailed purchase view, I saw this:

Mail-In Rebate $150 Mail In Rebate MIR150 [463-4507] 81

So I think the thread title is correct.

The rebate is indeed $150. Dell does havea way of confusing things by using the $110 figure as well. Oh well, doesn't matter anyway. No AGP, no purchase.
