I was over at WalMart with my dad and saw a Ti4200SE with 128MB DDR RAM for $45 with no rebates at all. Its normall $100 there but it was marked down. It wasn't very visible but if you look for a few minutes you'll find it. I was going to get one but its a long story and my dad said no.... *sigh*

My brother will be on a Radeon VE and thats why I wanted to get him that card...

What?? They sell video cards at Walmart? Which Walmart is this? I've never even seen a Walmart in my life.

Many markdowns at most walmarts, should find good deals on phones, tvs, and other misc items.

I live in IN and my local walmart has been rearranging there electronics dept. and had out in the middle of the isles all sorts of electronics goodies and opened box stuff on clearence. I'm gonna have to check tonight for some deals. I don't think my local walmart carries any video cards.

Hmmmm...I've never shopped at Walmart for components...would it be helpful if I called the store first, or are their workers not going to be of much assistance? Both nearest Walmarts are 15 minutes away, so I don't really want to waste that time nor gas...

They aren't smart enough, if they were, I'd get it price matched at Best Buy.:)

As mentined, I live in Carmel, Indiana.

No Ti4200s carried at a couple local Sacramento Walmarts I've been too. Seriously hot deal for those of you who can get it for this price. Best of luck to you.

Screw you too! I work at walmart and don't even begin to tell me I'm stupid.

It is true that there are many challenged workers there but you will see those everywhere working. I am not a challenged worker however so :p

YMMV on this for sure, I'm willing to bet that no other walmart store has this deal. Walmart does carry a small selection of pc components.

I'm sorry about the comment, I really didn't think before saying that. No offense intended, what I should have said was:

I don't think they would have kept track of the item since not many people buy computer parts at Wal*Mart so they wouldn't remember right away.

actually ^ is probably the only employee of wally's that is a part of anandtech
contrast with hundreds of bb cusa od om cc whatever, even tgt
it's(wally's) the only store that i don't sneak in -- not bothering to put my keys in my pocket
