NAND is a bit better than 3 months ago, but seems like it'll take a while until you see fall 2023 prices again.I *think* (there I go again) NAND prices are coming down a bit, too. I've noticed some sale pricing that is approaching the $40/TB we enjoyed what back in 2023? For the entry level stuff like Team Group, Patriot, TimeTec, KingSpec, not the premium brands e.g. Samsung, Intel, Crucial, WDC, Seagate, et. al.
Why would that matter? I don't buy RAM thinking that I would have to RMA it. I buy RAM (or any PC part) thinking it will last the entire lifetime of the PC.Of all of the RAM companies, which has the most streamlined RMA process?
Gross, and that's 15-20% more on top of the already inflated prices. My 32GB kits cost me about $60 this time last year and now they're $110 (and rising apparently)!Latest news is that DDR5 prices are heading up:
SK hynix tells customers it will raise DDR5 DRAM prices by 15-20%, Samsung, Micron to follow
SK hynix notifies its clients that it will raise DDR5 DRAM prices by 15-20% and that RAM competitors Samsung and Micron are 'likely to follow'.www.tweaktown.com
