I tried mid-afternoon, and the asst manager said that there was a memo handed out regarding coupons. Plus, the register said that the coupon was invalid.

No biggie, they accepted a $10 off OMAX coupon.
 
my local St@ples took the coupon without any problems. however, they did make me make the total over $40 since it was a $10 off $40 coupon but that wasnt no biggie. I just bought a pack of Starburst candy and was on my merry way.

the funny thing about this was that I already had a $30 St@ples reward check that I hadnt used yet so I whipped it out as well. the cashier said that my total was something like $40.58 or so. I then handed her the $10 coupon and the $30 St@ples reward check and had to give her a whopping .58 cents of my cold, hard cash.

she then saw the rebate form printing out and said, "wow, it looks like were going to pay you $30 to buy this phone from us!" 😀

ahhh yes, life's good... 😉
 
The $10 off coupon worked for me. There were 2 of these remaining when I went to my local Staples yesterday. I also bought a 10pack of Imation diskettes for $2.50 (reg $5) to put me over the $40 total. This IS a decent phone. Most "cheap" speaker phones I have don't even have a mute button, much less 2.4GHz cordless. But this one does. Great for phone conferences at home. Thanks!
