but now everyone already has it for free. why would i pay for it now?

You can't save streaming videos (without an illegal program, which is another story). So, if someone takes it down, you don't have it anymore.

If you've already watched it for free, you are probably less likely to pay for it at a later point - it doesn't matter if you plan on owning it or not.

The sense of entitlement on this message board is startling, to say the least.

Entitlement? Look, I got over not being able to watch Kevin James again (yes, again, I already saw it once before and was looking for it again, so much for your point) pretty quickly. I'm trying to point out a flaw of logic. Just pure, simple logic.

Um, your argument has already been trashed by a few people in this thread. Your "pure, simple logic" has failed buddy. You just want to get something for free that you don't own. THAT is a sense of entitlement.

I think anybody who pays enough attention the world around them understands that just because some people "trash an argument" doesn't make it a false one. ATOT is not filled with the infallable bearers of truth. At any rate, you didn't even read my post, the one you fucking quoted for that matter...where I said I'm not even concerned with getting the damn product. Just pointing out that lack of logic here as I see it. Assume whatever else you want, I guess.

There is plenty of logic - you don't own the copywrited material, so you aren't entitled to it as you see fit. If you get it for free now, what happens when/if that material is made available for purchase again in the future?

BTW, don't act like your argument is infaliable ("just pure, simple logic") and then say you can't take anyone else's argument at face value.

Again, you want something that you aren't entitled to, and you've come here to complain about it. There's not much else to it, really.

too bad that doesn't work as wellin general
things go out of print and are knocked off netflix. they just get listed as unavaliable. rare prints and such slowly are lost to wear/breakage loss..so stuff gets hard to find.

Man, it's like talking to a wall. Forget about it.

For the future, though, if you're going to argue about copyright laws, please at least learn to spell the word.
