that made no sense. it seemed in the beginning it was 4 F15s to 1 F16.

Too much cutting in and out i guess.

And in the end when he goes after the two F-15s, you see the lead F15's wingman behind the F-16 but no mention of why the wingman didn't protect the lead?

Was in imax as I said, pretty decent flick. Lots of awesome shots when I saw it, I imagine they're close to the same in HD. But there is also a lot of CG and "creative license" used in the video, Top Gun may be considered more realistic - at least it was all real jets.

Agreed. I think the best part of the Imax movie were the A-10's firing their main cannon
