everyone wants to talk about Kobe not being a winner.

look at Garnett. OMFG, this guy just can't win the big one.

and don't talk about who is or is not on the team. the TWolves had MUCH better teams the last few years than the lakers do this year.

Dunno, can't find those details yet. I think the 2nd round picks are conditional as well.

Personally, I think neither team improves a great deal right now. The big plus for the Celts is that Kandiman's contract is up after this season so they will have a lot of cap room to play with.

Overall, though, I'd give the edge to the TWolves because they got Davis who is having a career year, some solid role-players (Banks and Blount have shown some talent and can probably contribute), and two draft picks which will probably end up being pretty good. The Celts can definitely improve if they spend their money wisely in the off-season, although now they have Wally's contract to deal with.

What? KG can't win the big game? When were they that talented? Spree was well past his prime, Cassell couldn't stay healthy, and they still have yet to have another big man who can do anything on his team. Lamar Odom is much better than anyone KG has had to play with too. I'd also like to point out that the Lakers are hardly proof that Kobe is a winner at all...what have they done this year?

The NBA came down WAY too hard on the T-Wolves for that Joe Smith garbage, they lost 3 years of #1 picks.

I think this is a very good trade for the T-Wolves. Yes, Wally was a good stationary shooter, but not too much of a defender, passer, or ball-handler. Davis, bad rep and all, is a better all-around player..Blount doesn't rebound much, but he can score 10-14 a night, which is something TW centers have never done.....I like Banks too, he's a jet of a PG

You think McHale is bad? Try living with Ainge as the head of your basketball operations. I want to drive a stake thru his heart for what he's done with my Celtics.

I really hate the Kings for trading Peja *sigh*

I guess the time finally came for them to part ways.
