Swift kick to the nads is usually a good place to start.

Actually its not.

throat, nose, solarplexis (sp?) are good. Eyes as well but are more serious attack.

Punch someone in the liver and you will hear the most bloody scream in your life.

How many people actually know where the liver is though?

Pressure points are a good form of control...however that comes mainly after the fight.

;) Pressure point don't have to be prolongued holds, actually that is infrequent. You mainly use pressure point to cause a lot of pain or to knock someone out with a strike. Most of them will only stun someone, but it is enough time to get away.

Some pressure points are very easy to use. But in the case of trained people, they will hardly react to some of them.

Oh, I almost forgot. A person who is drunk or high might not feel the affects either, but usually they are too uncoordinated anyways and you could easily walk away.

A solarplexis hit or a temple strike though will usually knock even a drunk person out.

Establish firm grip of nipple between side of index finger and thumb. Increase pressure, twist clockwise and watch subject be reduced to threat level of a 5 year old girl. :D
