Could there be a conflict of interest here?

President Obama’s deputy national security advisor, Ben Rhodes is the brother of CBS News president David Rhodes .

ABC News President Ben Sherwood's sister, Dr. Elizabeth Sherwood-Randall, is the Special Assistant to Barack Obama.

CNN deputy bureau chief, Virginia Moseley, is married to Hillary Clinton’s deputy, Tom Nides.

Virginia Moseley's husband, Tom Nides, is the Deputy Secretary of State for Management and Resources.

This is the most honest, transparent administration we've had in power for years. Forget about Benghazi, forget about Fast and Furious, forget about spying on the AP and forget about the IRS debacle (to name just a few recent developments) and it's obvious that there could in no way be anything untoward going on in this regard.

The government issued Kool-Aid is really yummy too!

Hmm...let's look at all the stories that have broken recently and who reported on them first.

What did you find?

Did you drink some with your Ensure Plus this morning? You must still have quite a few kegs of the KoolAid that rotted your brain when Bush was president. Stop drinking it. How your IQ keeps descending is no longer a mystery.

It must pain you to have to resort to defending Bush era tactics by the Obama administration.

Any deaths as a result of these? 5000 soldiers killed in Iraq, not that it matters

While there's no doubt in my mind about the leanings of the media and those in charge of main stream news, extending some sort of conflict of interest umbrella to cover the family of anyone who is in the news media is absurd.

It's eyebrow raising, but at the same time having high achievers in one extended family is pretty common, and you don't usually become a deputy national security advisor just because you're family with somebody (usually).

Rove went to work with Fox after his resignation in 2007. A bit different. I never liked Rove or that idiot Bush either.

Karl Rove was in charge of the PAC trying to get Romney elected at the same time he was employed by Fox News.

Trying to get someone elected is not the same as having a sibling connected to someone already in high office. Siblings where one is a network news president . Rove is a political contributor for Fox, not an anchor or news president, and a columnist for the Wall Street Journal

I find the whole mess of govt, news, bankers, to be too cozy and too much of a revolving door. I dislike that idiot Bush, smug Cheney, and Rove too. The revolving door of US treasury and big banks is probably most disturbing.

"The latest, but probably not the last shocker, is a report in The Daily Caller about CBS News Correspondent Sharyl Attkisson, who has "steadily covered the Obama administration's handling of the Benghazi terrorist attack in Libya," reportedly frustrating CBS News executives who claim her unrelenting coverage is "bordering on advocacy" on the issue. Now, according to Politico, Attkisson can't get some of her stories about Benghazi on the air. Oh, did I fail to mention that CBS News President David Rhodes is the brother of Deputy National Security Adviser Ben Rhodes? Coincidental? Attkisson is reportedly in talks to leave the network. Is it because she chooses to behave like a real journalist instead of a cheerleader for Obama?"

Carvil, Stephenapoulus, I also believe Lee Atwater consulted for news organizations? could be wrong about that one.

anyway, these aren't the only ones and this isn't anything new. Remember that these guys are basically consultants. They happen to work in politics. Their job is to know the mind of the base they happen to work with. As campaign manager,s their job isn't so much to push any time of agenda as it is to get their candidate elected.

It just makes sense that these industries--media and politicians, political analysts, etc, mingle. How else are you supposed to report the news?

as for the OP, the assertion is absurd. People tend to share interests and run in similar circles within families. The siblings and children in a news familiy is probably going to have a strong interest in politics, consulting, whatever. It's always possible that they are actually good candidates for the job, isn't it? Does everything have to be a fucking conspiracy with you idiots?
This is like raising a stink over the owner of a local abattoir patronizing a nearby restaurant.

Wouldn't be surprised if the CIA is infiltrating the MSM again too.

The MSM is kept in business by spreading the lies of the State. Would've been interesting to see what would've happened to them had Dr. Paul become President.
