Also, the reason they needed people out of the hospitals was because the epidemic was quite bad initially and the fear was they'd run out of room - because the Federal response was to "play it down" - Trump's own words.

So yes, Cuomo has some fault here but if Trump and Co. didn't fuck up the federal response from the get go, Cuomo would never have been put in that position.

We need Martial Law, I went to the corner market and the female in front of me turned to me, with no mask on and said "you can put your stuff on the counter, don't worry about no mask this is all way blown out of proportion" That's the 1st time I saw she didn't have on a mask, so I said nothing and just took 2 big steps back. People are morons who apparently can't be trusted to make smart decisions on their own. Declare Martial Law, have military randomly go in stores that are open. If you're maskless, BANG they can kill you. I'm tired of people telling me it's not a big deal, I'm tired of people saying it's a hoax. I'm tired of the "it's almost passed" group that speak with zero facts. Every morning I help a 5 year old girl with virtual Kindergarten. She won't see a classroom in person for her entire K year. That's depressing shit. Her teacher is a video chat on a 14" Chromebook, that's what she think's school is, it's all she knows. Sad shit. Numbers are up, they're not going to magically start going down with all dumbshits who think it's a violation of their God given 'Merican rights to be forced to wear a mask. Fuck every single last one of those idiots.

It is pretty horrible and probably could have been mitigated had we not had a president that told the American people that this will be over in a couple of weeks.

The 13% are undecided on who won the debate, not who to vote for.

The importance of the poll is that it shows over 2/3's of independents saying Biden won.

When you talk to people who are center-left to center-right, they're tired of mudslinging by "both sides." Guess who they saw as the mudslinger tonight?

I hope you're right, but I don't think he dares cancel future debates. The question I think is if Biden will cancel them. Arguably he should. Any sensible person would grant that.
