I am sure the next President's new AG will ensure that law enforcement has reach.

The scary part is lifetime SS protection..

If they try to raid and snatch, can you imagine what a shootout between SS and NYPD will look like? In Florida?

Not NYPD. FBI. Or is it US Marshals? Either way, the federal agency in charge of his arrest should probably grant the SS advanced notice of the request to hand over the criminal. It is for law and order, for due process, after all. They should all be given the opportunity to follow the Constitution. If they outright reject the authority of our next President and AG, then... the consequences of lawlessness would fall on them.

More than likely it's the swamps in Florida that he thinks will make him feel more at home.

edit - Wouldn't it be just like him to think that he was righteously punishing New York by changing his residency?

I'd say it's an attempt to reduce the chances for prosecution and monetary losses, but even he probably knows he can't escape those once he's out of office. It may just be an attempt to avoid the living hell (as he deserves) of being heckled and otherwise called out every time he pokes his head outside.
Its probably just that Florida is more of a swing state than NY. He needs to win Florida and he'll get a boost by being resident there.

It'll never happen that way. Nor do I believe Trump will ever spend a day a locked up other than maybe under house arrest high atop Trump Tower. Hopefully for the rest of his life.

What does this even ultimately mean? My state doesn't have income taxes - though I have had to file a return in Ohio for work I did out there....

Does this even make a difference in his tax return? It's usually based on where you actually performed work, not based on where you reside.

Also in regards to Cuomo (god what an incompetent fool) if he didn't pay taxes in your state...... I don't know if you know this... but... guess what? IT'S YOUR FAULT if that's true (which I would bet isn't).If there are STATE TAX LAWS to exploit, then it's on YOU. Not the taxpayer.

Recent scientific evidence suggests that not only is Homo Floridensus primitive but also devolving. Indications are that it's swamp related.

Senior Citizen From New York Moves To Florida.
So... whats the big surprise here?
How many old farts living in FL have moved from NY?
Do we have a number? An estimate?
This is not news, this was an inevitability.
Actually, I think this may be demanded by some New York law? For old fat rich people to one day leave NY for FL ???
I can see it now...
Too old and shaky for golf, Donald Trump becomes king and dictator of the shuffleboard court. He changes all the rules, while corrupting the gaming process. And as the old fart, Donald still finds plenty of time to grab those senior ladies by the adult diaper.
And don't worry about Melania, she's off diddling the pool boy.
For a fee, naturally.
After all... handsome pool boys never diddle aged trophy wives for free.

Here in Duval the orange god is revered!
Same here in North Idaho, unfortunately. Blind ignorance abounds. Had one of his supporters telling me awhile back how good his newly acquired Obamacare health insurance was because "Trump actually fixed the way the program works."

You can't make this shit up.

Don't I know it! I was having a conversation with my parents the other day and just couldn't hold back while they bad mouthed some good people. I ended up calling Trump a communist president and then they immediately started talking bad about Obama. They are brainwashed as are all Trump supporters and I find it very sad. Truth should reign supreme no matter where it takes you.

A friend of mine is, by all other measure, an intelligent well rounded person EXCEPT for his unshakable loyalty to Trump. We usually tease each other about our preference for political ideologies but there was this one instance where I sort'a pushed him a little too far where I explained to him in more than usual detail why I thought Trump is unfit for the position he now holds.

Well it all came down to my arguing facts and truths about Trump against his arguing why his "feelings" debunked the wall of damning facts I had by then built and buttressed against Trump.

He got shaking mad at one point so I had to apologize and promised him that I would never ever go there again, bless his Trump loving "feels".
