President Trump plans to attend Game Five of the World Series, but will not throw out the first pitch.
He claims it's because the bulletproof vest would make him look too fat, no it's your fat that makes you look fat. It's more than likely he'd get booed by the crowd.
Just in...Trump's supporters are glad to have a real man in the WH.

What's odd is that he was a really good baseball player in high school, supposedly scouted by the Red Sox and the Phillies kinda good . Really good. I mean, everyone gets old and loses their strength, form and technique, odd he'd give up such a chance to show his physical prowess.
For the record, I am 100% sincere in my statement about his baseball skills. I think I've been fairly straightforward as how I feel about him otherwise.

AFAIK the team said no. Who could blame them given Trump's extreme un-popularity in DC? The booing would be so loud they could hear it in Philadelphia.

Instead they have Jose Andres doing it.

Why didn't his "bone spurs" get in the way of baseball?

Never knew it was a tradition for POTUS to throw out the first pitch for the WS? Is that an... every year kind of thing? As in Obama did it 8 times?

No, it's a thing/tradition if a President/former President attends a game, doesn't even have to be a Series game.

So Trump comes out waving to the crowd, his bots are jumping up and down in sheer excitement and pride to make sure Trump gets the accolades he deserves while his "enemies of the people" are booing him down into the dirt. Trump gives the "ramp up the noise" gesture while mouthing "hit those fuckers!" and the roar from the crowd goes ballistic. Inevitably, what looks like an epic soccer riot in the stands explodes and Trump is entranced and ecstatic at the carnage he created.

Yeh, just what the sponsoring network needs to ride the ratings roller coaster off the charts.

This is correct pretty sure. Most Presidential pitches are thrown at opening day which they often attended.
Looks like 7 presidents have thrown the first pitch in a WS game.
Last was GWB.

it's more of an Opening Day tradition, especially when DC had a team, the Washington Senators.

Yeah, I think he already broke the normal tradition his first year, when he didn't show up for opening day, right?

Haha, of course. Baseball may be the only thing Trump was ever any good at. Several of his classmates said he could have gone pro. You'd think an attention whore like Il Douche would jump at the chance to be in the spotlight like that, particularly in a way that doesn't involve answering questions.

Oh wait, he's a shameful traitor completely ensnared in a web of lies, about to face the music. He knows he'd get the Giuliani/Pence treatment, only worse.

Pussy.

GWB set the standard his pitch was perfect, appears others are afraid to be compared to him

I believe GWB was a pitcher in high school, he also was part owner and face of the Texas Rangers ownership so I am sure he was able to work with the pitching coaches. He also had access to Nolan Ryan as well.

Ticket prices have plummetted tonight since the Nats are 0-2 at home. If it weren't for the weather I think I'd pony up and go.
