BUSH: We?ve actually misnamed the ?War on Terror.? It ought to be ?The Struggle Against Ideological Extremists Who Do Not Believe In Free Societies Who Happen to Use Terror as a Weapon? To Try to Shake The Conscience of the Free World.?

Good for him, the original name was so cliche'.

Can we make it an acronym? SAIEWDNBIFSWHUTW?

Neocons.

Can't we just call it, "The Diversionary War to Distract Americans From the Fact We Haven't Found Osama and From a Sputtering Economy?"

he makes a good point, one often overlooked by simpleton libbies on this forum, the ?war on terror? is not what we are truly fighting, and if we had such a clear definition of what the true fight was when it comes to ?the war on poverty? and ?the war on drugs? then maybe the criticism of them as open-ended wars on ideas and situations wouldn?t be so valid.

Fact is we are fighting a true war, not the b.s. wars like those against drugs and homelessness, as such we truly understand the difference of the times we?re living in.

when the struggle against ideological extremists who do not believe in free societies, who happen to use terror as a weapon to try to shake the conscience of the free world, has been won.

spreading American decadence throughout the world is essential to this and part of why we're in iraq.

Magnus -- That's a marvelously stupid statement. It's almost as good as Bush's statement, yesterday:
Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we.
Keep practicing, and soon, you may have a future as a speech writer for Bushwhacko.

Better hurry. The job ends in three months.

Last time I checked, the popular vote does not put one into office. Bush is going to roll in the electoral count, though.

In regards to ending the job in 3 months, are you referring to Bush's speech writer? If so, the speech writer should be fired.

Bush looked away from the script when he gaffed. Everyone inwardly cringes when he does that. I have to hand it to Rummy when he didn't guffaw all over the place for the most recent pearl of Bushisms.

that was a marvelously pointless statement, almost as devoid of reason as your first comment in this thread.

We are fat lazy and wealthy, some extremists will hate us for having a freedom of religion, but many fewer will join their ranks if they to are fat lazy and wealthy.

We need only bring them hooters and star bucks and we will but an end to islamofacism as we know it.

Actually it is a good arguement since it is painfully obvious that it was a joke base in fact. Since They are pretty tired being hunted down and swaping caves in northern Pakistan. 😀

Also Hamas has also marketed Michael Moore's piece of fiction thoughout the middle east so it is painfully obvious who their choice is.

Imagine how tired they'd be siiting in an isolated Jail cell being interrogated 7/24 if the Dub hadn't of distracted the effort against them with his ill conceived excellent adventure in Iraq?
