He ran and hid in the super secure White House Bunker. The darkies scared him.

Trump spent nearly an hour in the bunker, which was designed for use in emergencies like terrorist attacks, according to a Republican close to the White House who was not authorized to publicly discuss private matters and spoke on condition of anonymity. The account was confirmed by an administration official who also spoke on condition of anonymity.

Trump did not appear in public on Sunday. Instead, a White House official who was not authorized to discuss the plans ahead of time said Trump was expected in the coming days to draw distinctions between the legitimate anger of peaceful protesters and the unacceptable actions of violent agitators.

On the one hand, I think that this move may have been prompted by the secret service. On the other hand, I think there have been some Presidents who would have had to be dragged to that bunker unconscious.

Exactly, the big baby could say no.
Seems like the last time it was used was 9/11.

I think that's basically what happened to GWB right after 9/11 when they thought a plane was headed to the WH. Scooped him out of bed and down into the PEOC.

The stuff that's happening in the WH are the reports you'd expect out of a tin pot dictatorship where the guy in charge is holed up in a bunker under the presidential palace while the populace closes in on him.

beta cuck

projection once again
(granted usually the president has zero input as to their protection. They generally have to do as the SS says)

That’s not accurate. The Shrub was reading a story to children when the first plane hit the WTC.

I should have clarified it was that night when they mistakenly thought DC airspace had been breached.

You know you're a man of the people when you... retreat to your bunker worried that angry protesters will overwhelm the Secret Service and storm the White House.

I'm surprised you bought into this contrived nonsense. Do you think that there isn't a well planed response to an angry mob at the white house fence? Do you really believe that the secret service was looking around wondering what they should do?

Who's the last president that failed so titanically at his role that this happened?

Phew, I'm glad an arbiter of truth turned up to set the record straight. I don't suppose you have any directly relevant evidence to back up your assertion with, lest it gets labelled as nonsense?

Hmm let’s see the tough guy President is the first to use it since a major terrorist attack. The President before George NEVER USED THE FUCKING BUNKER.
All the tough guys out there saying Democrats are wimps. Guess what your guys are the only fucking elected guys who use the bunker.
Slightly more on topic, the President could simply say “No” he isn’t required to hide in the bunker. The President could choose better words to diffuse tension but as of now he appears to be incapable of doing so.
The President could keep his fucking mouth shut about stuff like Bernie or Hillary being afraid when someone rushes the stage.
These are his own words and actions. I am holding him accountable to being the biggest, toughest President in history.
By my definition the biggest, toughest President in history shouldn’t hide in a bunker.

So Herr Twittler, famous for 140 character spurts of impotent rage, finally got a taste for what real rage looks like. And just like Twittler’s namesake, he hid in a bunker and turned off the lights.

FAA notice says he's going to Bedminster this weekend. Alas I'm sure it's harder to get to his golf course in Virginia these days with the unraveling of the country and all so he'll make some sacrifices.
