Trump is currently down by 10.6 in both 538 and RCP polling averages. His spastic tweeting is desperation. He's throwing everything up against the wall to see if anything sticks. No one is paying attention anymore except his core base. The rest of us reached a point of saturation and desensitization a long time ago.

Rallying the maskless morons all over the Country probably won't have the effect he desires, not after the covid party in the rose garden & the way he handled himself after becoming infected. It really is quite insane, and about as obvious as being smacked up the side of the head with a 3 pound trout...

Rallies are for his feelz. They also cost 1-2M a pop so go nuts my man and further drain that campaign bank account on useless shit.

Our biggest problem, other than Trump himself, is the pandemic. Rallies exacerbate the problem. That's beyond obvious. Trump DGAF. It's all about him & what he wants. Everything. He's quite depraved.

It depends what kind of event he does. The airport stuff surely costs less than renting an arena but you still have to prep and stage it. Vendors aren't doing that for free and the campaign needs to staff it. Some of the bigger more involved events obviously still cost quite a bit.

Anything he burns with this bullshit and doesn't spend on ads or voter outreach is a win in my book.

It's bad for the country in ways that TV ads are not. It promotes the spread of a highly infectious & deadly disease. I feel sorry for the poor gaslit fools who attend.
