Trump should provide another video today, according to officials, confirming that he's still not willing to tape anything live.
You know, I actually thought your comment was about him going back to negative ads (which he absolutely needs to do right now); so clicking on your link left me strangely disappointed.
Took me a while to find it again.
"He certainly does want to address the nation at some point. But in terms of timing of that, certainly no plans as of today, but I think they're always fast moving so should that change, we'll be sure to let you know,"
I think that translates to "I have no idea what the orange man will do next."
Since Trump is feeling so amazing Biden should unleash the cannons on him.
exactly. That, with the complete lack of transparency and honesty with the WH's refusal to contact trace, it really should be gloves-off with them.
Biden does seem like a legitimate "nice guy" and seems too invested in being honorable right now. ....towards a dude that will never stop telling egregious lies about Biden's surviving son.
If anything, i guess the Biden campaign is still operating under the assumption that Trump is about to get slapped by the reality of this virus and fall flat within a week, but at this point...seriously fuck that douchebag. Let him die. And up until then, remind the people that this orchestrated propaganda over the last couple of days is wholly dangerous to the country.
Seriously, at this point, does ANYONE take Donald Trump serious? Donald Trump is no longer one bit presidential, Trump blew what credibility that remained during that debate. Donald Trump is a sad sad case of a man without a country, without a cause, without a true friend, and without a chance in hell. If I were the loser that Trump is, I would resign making Mike Pence president, get a full pardon from president Pence, and then get the hell out of Washington. Donald Trump is such a failure that when his picture is hung on the wall in the hall of presidents, it won’t be a painting of Donald Trump, it will be a painting of a big fat question mark.
I have to agree that many are stuck on their personal political traditions and believe they have to support their party regardless of their parties stand on issues, or their party's actions. That is the problem. People need to stop voting based on party and start voting based on the issues. But we have to actually have debates and real honest discussions about issues rather than elections after elections of mud slinging, and who can dig up the most dirt on the person they are running against.Yeah, it's weird. I try to imagine what people are thinking, who they are, those people who swear by Trump. I think a lot of them wouldn't say they believe all he says but that he's the better man to have in office. OK, I don't get out there enough, you say, but the thing is I don't live where the trump loyalty is over 3% and it may be far below that, it's hard to tell. In any case, I spend a lot of my time trying, really trying to figure out what's going on in this world. I try hard to understand what people are thinking and doing. I watch news, I spend a lot of time here in P&N, I subscribe to the NY Times, I check out websites, links in threads, I read books.
I think a lot of Trump's support comes from people who are loyal to their personal political traditions coming from family, territory, the structure that people build their lives upon. Most people don't change much over the years. Some can and do, it's a great thing about humans, they have a great capacity for personal development. But it's usually not brought to fruition.
I can see the argument that Trump is so self destructive he'll take care of himself at this point and running on what you plan to do and who you are is probably solid campaign strategy. It could well be right after all since Biden is +8.7 (538 avg) four weeks out and posting above 50% in the swing states.
It doesn't temper my desire to witness Trump's utter obliteration though.
One of the true deans of American television journalism and still alive at 88. Glad to see him weighing in and talking from the heart/soul still.Truer words never been spoken about this clusterfuck of an administration.
It will be a dire warning to anyone who would consider running for president and is not ready for it. Actually it's worse than that. In any case, I was tired of Trump before his term began and that's only gotten worse since. What's amazing is that the devastation continues to escalate. The election can not come too soon. Too bad RGB couldn't hold on a few more months.Donald Trump is such a failure that when his picture is hung on the wall in the hall of presidents, it won’t be a painting of Donald Trump, it will be a painting of a big fat question mark.
I wasn’t aware the virus could infect arachnids but there you go
Truer words never been spoken about this clusterfuck of an administration.
ever get the feeling that the ever-growing anxiety related to the federal and NY state investigations against his family, the upcoming divorce that will be filed on Nov 4th, the simple prospect of losing, is really going to peak in a few days when the roids wear off and the covid blood clots really start amping up?
If this guy isn't dead within 2 weeks, he's almost certainly going to be on a ventilator at the least.
I wasn’t aware the virus could infect arachnids but there you go
Rudy hasn't turned him all the way yet...I wasn’t aware the virus could infect arachnids but there you go
I would like to express my sincerest condolences to the coronavirus.I wasn’t aware the virus could infect arachnids but there you go
