Plus, he needs to be able to attend his trials next year to witness his criminal empire be taken down and all his unpaid taxes and ill gotten gains be stripped from him and his criminal family.

He can die in prison as a lonely and broken man.
I'd hope for regret and penance, but I don't think it's within his character to do so.

My take on it, this is just as it seems. I see a whole lot of conspiracy speculation, but Occam's Razor is going to slice all that shit right up. Hope is sick, she was the first report but not necessarily the first or ONLY contact to start it out.
That is not important either.
Germaphobe Trump can't keep his hands and lips off of young women, and there's a pic of him kissing her head only days ago. Anybody could have given it to him, but I am going with simple and direct.
He touches her any chance he gets.
The superspreader evidence is already rolling in. My prediction is a whole lot of positive tests among all those assholes not wearing masks. Republican Senators, staffers, anyone hanging around them.
Because this is Trump's white house, we won't get any good contact tracing information, but the news of positive tests will tie it all together.
They played stupid games to support an idiot. They collectively got the stupid prize.
 
If you do nothing to mitigate your risk of spreading or contracting the virus (e.g. masks, social distancing, gathering restrictions), then you are only as safe as those within your social circle. It was a matter of time before this happened in Trump's orbit, apparently. Thing is, if they still followed those precautions, chances are the sporadic positives who come and go from that circle would lead to very few if any additional cases.

It also honestly kind of pisses me off. Since I don't have a wife or kids, I don't think I've had even incidental physical contact with another human being since March. But these assholes are too self-important and selfish for that.

I don't wish him death either, that's way too easy! I wish he recovers, and suffers chronic effects of the disease with horrible, debilitating pain for the rest of his life. Then when he's about to die, we invent human longevity drugs and forcibly inject him so he can suffer more until he's 250 years old.
Then I want to piss on his grave, while he's being buried alive
