He's a guy whose cousin was visiting from Taiwan (or somewhere over there), and he wanted to take her to NYC. Then he started asking about romantic places in New York. Then he got really upset because she dumped him (figured out he was having naughty thoughts about her and refused to go to NYC with him). Then he ran over an old lady with his car, for which he had no insurance.

I love how every wacko activist group uses tried and true PR tactics learned from businesses to forward their cause:
"C.U.D.D.L.E International, founded in 2002, is a privately funded organization dedicated to dispelling social prejudices and discriminating laws based on common myths about cousin marriages.
C.U.D.D.L.E. promotes tolerance, understanding and respect through education, advocacy, and conflict resolution. "
That works for everything. Let's try it:
"BMTSA (Big Men Torturing Small Animals) International, founded in 2002, is a privately funded organization dedicated to dispelling social prejudices and discriminating laws based on common myths about big guys torturing small animals.
BMTSA promotes tolerance, understanding and respect through education, advocacy, and conflict resolution."
Hey, it worked!

That's pretty strange ... my wife's family is quirky, but not quite that strange. My wife's Dad came from a family of 6 brothers & 2 sisters. Her Mom came from a family of 6 sisters and 1 brother ... I'm pretty sure you can see where this is going. Three brothers married three sisters, and hence my wife has some nearly genetically identical cousins almost the exact same age. I was welcomed into the family when they told me this, and I exclaimed "Well, it is a bit strange, but look at it this way, if my wife ever needs a kidney there are probably several donors". This was at a family reunion while we were still dating, and I brought down the house. 😀

Yeah, i felt the same way. I try not to post in threads there that are really long, and get deeply divided, wherther it be religious/ political,, etc.Originally posted by: Medicine Bear
