Anyone ever order any prescription sunglasses online?

I'm looking for someplace with a large selection, and preferably cheap.

Also, does anyone know if prescription sunglasses are covered by a Flexible Spending Account? I think they are if I get them from my Optometrist's office, but I'm not sure about online places.

Bumping this old thread because I am looking to see if I can buy prescription sunglasses online (want to save some money, hopefully). I am looking for wraparound ones, because I get migraines that are triggered by sunlight, so filtering light from all angles is a necessity. Thanks in advance for anyone who can help me.

Don't know a good online source but my prescription sun glasses were covered by my Flex Spending Account.

Define "cheap"

If you want a decent pair of sunglasses that are durable and will last a while, you'd pay prices starting at $50 and up for nonprescription sunglasses. If you want polarized, it'll be more.
prescription sunglasses are significantly more expensive.

Depends on the style that you want. The tinted glasses you get at the glasses shop will not do much in terms of blocking out sunlight.

A lot depends on how strong your perscription is too because most labs won't make any wrap-style glasses if your vision is very bad & none of the ones that will are going to be cheap.

Anyone know if Zenni does polarized lenses? (other than the clip on)

i'm pretty sure zenni doesn't offer any polarized lenses (other than the clipons)

39dollarglasses.com does though (for additional 30-100 bucks)

oh, and yes, i've ordered several pair from zenni - love em!

ordered one pair from 39dollarglasses, weren't thrilled (but i ordered kids frames for my kid and i had no idea that they'd be infant size)
