I have lost a day or two some where. 😀

After having my surgery, I am on lorrtabb, hydrocodone, and darvacet. I am posting from the bedroom via wireless and the wife's lappy. I have been restricted to bed because of the amount of pain meds I am on. I could not walk a straight line if I had to save my life right now.

My son has decided to come back to the bedroom and keep me company.

he has been very good for a rambunctious 3 year old. He has not bounced on me at all since coming home from the hospital.

Remember this. Take care of yourself, or else you could be facing what I have just gone through. I have lost 12 lbs in 3 days thanks to not eating and just lying around.
 
while that is good, i really hope you're not on all those together.....all those meds are very related to each other and all contain acetaminophen, which taking alot of is quite bad for your liver.

btw, lortab = hydrocodone🙂
 
Sinuses Cleaned out, tubinictomy, polyps remomeved, tonsils adnoids removed. Throat reshaped. Basically I had all the breating plumbing reworked in the nasal area, and the throat reworked because of sleep apnia.
 
I know all of those are related. The wife has a strict schedule of what I am to take and when. So we are watching tthe schedule very carefully.

nitey nite all, just took my sleeptime dose. I will feel nothing n about 10 mins. This stuff is better than alcohol.

BTW, I just had the smart teefhs removed, I lost about 4 days due to Vicodin myself.
 
Update: I am now down below 310 lbs, and living on pudding and jello. BTW, lorrtabb makes you constipated, I just dropped 5lbs by "taking care of business". All I have taken is the liguid lorrtabb. Nasty tasting suff, but it does a pretty good job. I still have about 30 Hydrocodone and 30 darvacet pills left. Never even touched them. I should be back to work on Wednesday, at least I hope I will. Too many things get behind when I am out this long.
 
I had:

Tonsils and adnoids removed, throat reshaped, uvula removed.

sinuses drained, septum reshaped, turbinates removed. Functional rhinoplasty. Just had the splints removed Sunday, and the post op clean out done as well.


This is not a pleasent surgery to deal with. Your throat feels like some one scraped a pine cone up and down the back of your throat several times. Your nose and sinus passages feel like someone went in, scraped it with a knife, and then hooked a shop vac up to your nose. I now have so much air going through my nose, that it feels like some one has turned on a blower in my nose.

I am probably going to have to do some of the same things. Going to need to get my nose drilled and possibly have my tongue cut down (goes back too far) and get my tonsils removed. I can't even imagine what it would be like to breath through my nose.
 
I recently had a 2 week supply of percocet (actually it was called combonox percocet with advil). It was fun while it lasted 🙂

I think they cut my tongue down as well. It is awfully sore.
