Prescribed Levaquin

Some of the side effects online are nasty. Almost makes me not want to take it. Aren't there other options?

Decided not to take the levequin. Going back to my doctor in Massachusetts tomorrow. Read online that this is normally treated with a different type of antibiotic:

Try finding a med that does not have the potential for some nasty side effects and you win a prize. Levaquin is a great antibiotic for treating bacterial infections. Before I had sinus surgery my ENT used to prescribe it when I would contract a sinus infection.

I would not hesitate to take Levaquin (I've never had any negative side effects) ... but if there is a better course of treatment, I would take that route.

did doc verify that bacteria was the cause?

is it localized to your nail? or spreading out?
