That's stupid. 2 months on the market and currently no offers, and they can't eat the $5.5k. Wait another 2 months and offer only $100k and let's see how desperate the sellers are then.
 

Check on how many times the asking price has been dropped during it's listing period.

Offer what you are willing to pay, and be willing to walk away if you don't like their counter offers.
