I just signed up for DSL the other day, it's a 3 week long waiting period. I'm wondering if there is anything I can do to get ready to set up a home network (3 computers?). I have a Linux machine that is now a dedicated Counterstrike server at work which I control remotely from home, but I'm going to turn that into a "firewall" as some people have told me to do. Does it matter what kind of router I get? How do I set up a Linux firewall? I know the last question might be a little too complex, so you don't have to answer either. Even a comment would be great
I'm pretty good with Windows networking, and have helped configure a ISDN router a while back, but I didn't set it all up by myself. Again, I'm not exactly a newbie here - I work in a networking environment everyday at work, but I would appreciate some input
