Can you switch phones? Oe are you restricted to phones that are sold in prepaid plans? I would assume not since they porbably use a sim card, but I am just checking.

if they use sim cards, the number is stored there, so you might be able to switch

well, it's on the tmobile network and my gf wants some phone from japan.....so i am guessing it would work.
