Is there any prepaid cellular phone service that can be set up to notify the user (via email) when they have a new voicemail?

It looks like you can sign up at gotvoice.com. It will check your voicemail and email them as mp3s. But Im sure that its gonna use your minutes when it checks your voicemail. For additional money, they transcribe your voicemail and send it to you. Also, maybe look at something like a number from grandcentral. You give people your grandcentral number. They call it and you have it forwarded to your cell phone. If you dont answer it, they leave a voicemail that you can get by going to their website.

I'll look more into grandcentral. Thanks.

I emailed gotvoice two days ago and they still haven't responded. That might not be a good sign if I'm looking for a stable service.

I have looked into evoice.com too and that seems like it would work (to get an email notification of voicemail) but they don't offer a local number for my area.
