Yeah, Nov. 16th is the official release date. HL2 went gold a couple weeks ago now. So, it could even be in stores waiting to be put out soon. Who knows...
Well since my order is still listed as processing and I haven't received a UPS tracking code or anything yet I'm gonna guess they aren't shipping to arrive on the 16th.
My local EB has had this game in the back for about a week and I've heard a lot of Wal-Mart B&Ms have been selling copies all weekend(can play till can unlocking online though, but still)...from all that walmart.com should have had them in stock last week so they could have shipped early so we can have them on the 16th.
Its kind of expecting a lot from walmart..com but I was surprised when mtvshop shipped Halo2 early last wk and it was on my doorstep the morning of the 9th.
With walmart.com slipping on this shipping date and canceling my $20 UT XBOX order the other day, I can't see myself ordering from them anytime soon..unless I'm saving 35%+

Yeah I'm a bit disappointed also. I ordered halo2 from mtv.com too and got it the 8th... I was very happy to get it not only discounted but before it was really out (which actually didn't matter a whole lot since I had the french version a month ago, and the english for about a week already)...
But maybe walmart.com is as slow as mtv at updating the ship dates, we'll see tomorrow when UPS comes by...

I ordered Halo2 CE right when it was announced from EBGames.com for full price (free 2 day shipping). Then I see the MTV shop Halo2 for $41 (38+tax), I get my MTV order BEFORE the EBGames order. It's sad how a EBGames.com ships slower then a MTV's website.

Mine finally changed to SHIPPED! I ordered mine 8/9.
Says it will be delivered 11/23 though. :/ Guess I'll be playing WoW for a week more, which is fine by me.
Perhaps to save $$. This is a bargain forum, after all. Plus, there was no 'guarantee' it was going to ship later. As people said, sometimes pre-orders arrive before official release dates; too bad it didn't happen this time.

I got pissed and emailed walmart, all of a sudden now it says shipped and they just relayed that same info to me in the reply to my complaint...

Nope no email or anything. I`m f**king pissed. I found out they cancelled my order because my CC expired on 10/04. They didnt email me or anything to warn me.
