proves nothing....I am well aware of the many different methods employed by Israel....
I am sorry to say they are not 100% effective and have not been.

To totally seal something off can be and has been shown to be detrimental to all.

As Common Courtesy so stated --

If Israel was to seal their borders completely from the Palestinians; what would happen to Gaza?

At present the West Bank and Gaza are "no-mans" land. Those that were responsible for it have quit; those that presently are being responsible are condemmed.

Those that want the responsibility refuse to accept being responsible

The JediYoda thesis that, "At present the West Bank and Gaza are "no-mans" land. Those that were responsible for it have quit; those that presently are being responsible are condemmed.", is totally untrue regarding the West Bank and only partially true of Gaza.

Israel totally runs all aspects of the West Bank, has settled hundreds of thousands of illegal Israeli nationals, and is building walls all over the West Bank. As for Gaza, Israeli completely controls its borders and embargoes anyone sending aid.

Israel is trying to totally control the West Bank and Gaza which is totally incompatible with calling it no man's land.

No JedyY, I am not buying your interpretation of the UN charter, and more importantly neither does the rest of the world. I just refuse to get into a big pissing contest with you when other people and countries will be the decider, and not you or I.

But in other news you can find in the NYT, a UN commission has found Israel was in the wrong in boarding the Marma on 5/30/10, and moreover that the Israeli blockade of Gaza is illegal.

Right now all eyes should be on the peace talks between Abbas and Netanyuhu that may collapse if the settlement freeze is not extended by 9/27. If I were you JediY, I would be very worried about what will happen to Israel if they don't extend the freeze. Because the ice Israel skates on is getting a lot thinner. And if anything, Turkey is going to the anti-Israel side of the ledger and so is world opinion. While GWB was President, Israel would say jump and GWB would ask how high, and now Obama support is getting questionable.

But I am just asking the what if questions, while your only response is to piss faster and higher. I will let events decide. But 43 years is more than a little long for Israel to control the West Bank and Gaza. Granted Israel has gotten away with the same song for 43 years, but it will not last forever.

The Pals has 9 months to do something when the freezes were in play. How much longer should Israel allow the Pals to stall the freezes while they talk. 9 Months max!
Ask why if the freeze is so vital; why did the Pals wait until the last minute? Possibly to see how far they could push Israel before again she pushes back.

dude it`s not my interpretation of the UN Charter. I used the exact words it uses in the charter itself.

The UN Charter ONLY applies to member nations and how they act towards each other.

No where in the charter does it say anything about how members are suppose to treat non member nations...sorry you lose!!

Lemon it`s a huge cop out and admission of being owned when all you can do is claim that I am interpreting the charter, when I quoted word for word to you.

Unlike you I try my best NOT to dabble in made up facts with no basis of proof...ie UN Charter...
