Chiefs = early hype.

They beat San Diego, Houston, and Pittsburgh....not exactly top calibre teams at the moment.

Denver - If Portis goes down/can't play....they are in trouble.

From playing them in Madden and watching them beat up on other teams, with a healthy Priest Holmes, I see KC going to the Superbowl.

God I hope so! Baltimore will be a great test..then Denver.

I'm not so sure about Baltimore either. We (pittsburgh) rattled them pretty easy. Maybe they can get thier stuff together, but they really don't have that fire needed on offense.

True, but how many NFL teams blow their opponents out of the water three games in a row? The Chiefs are winning by an average score of 37 - 16. Most teams can go an entire season and not win by that much, let alone three games in a row.

Or not.

For the first quarter last sunday, I really did think the Bengals had turned themselves around and were a good team. But after Dillon was out, they totally lost all drive. He really is their whole offense.

I also don't count Pittsburgh in the same league as Houston or San Diego. Pittsburgh has a very strong offense when Maddox is on a roll and they have really worked on their nickle defense vs the pass so they will be making it to the post season, but I doubt they will make it much further than that.

I think the broncos are winning by a pretty large amount too. The difference is the broncos played with backups in game 2. Portis was out for a whole half against the raiders. In the 2nd half all we did was run the ball with a backup running back. Against San Diego we played with our backup running back and QB the whole 2nd half...

We'll see when they hit the defenses of Baltimore, Denver, and even Buffalo and Cleveland. If they can tear through them, then I may change my stance.

For now: Chiefs = early hype

Me too. Where are your seats?
Section 114 , row 19 ,..season tickets here :D
Nice, I'll be sitting in Section 125, Row 26 for the first time. How's the view from your seat (which is pretty much the same as mine, just different side)? I don't have season tickets yet because I don't live near Kansas City, but I'll be moving soon hopefully (new job).

Its decent. Its hard to see things going on at the other end of the field, but I love it when they get in the redzone on my side. Where do you live?

We always take Priest out when we are cremeing the opponent..which has been the past 3 games. Last weekend we put our 2nd string QB in. Mike Anderson, however, is good enough to be a starter for you guys. Portis is awesome..but is not an all around back like Priest is.

How is portis not an all around back? He's been doing it all this year...
Anyways, KC denver is gonna be a good game..could come down to the game being in KC...I still think Shanahan is a way better coach than Vermeil though...
The problem with Anderson starting at RB is that we have no fullback
By the way, I think the reason why we're awesome this year is Alex Gibbs is back at line coach...our line is playing really well

I wasn't aware there were that many KC fans...

Portis doesn't catch the ball as well. Shanahan to Vermeil..I don't know. Apples and oranges to me. I think Denvers weakness will be their defense..and Jake Plummer. I know he looked good vs the Raiders, but I think anyone could have went out their and smoked their D that night. Chiefs are giving up quite a bit on the pass, but hardly anything vs the run (77 yards avg). I think Denver will need to pass, and pass often vs the Chiefs. Stretch the field with Lelie..like Carr did with Andre Johnson, and you've got a game plan.
