Recently I've been getting BSOD on both my machines. Very odd that it's happening on both my machines within these past few weeks. I've had BSOD before but not as frequent as now: possibly drying ram? = maybe. I've done all the tests, Memtest HCI, LinX, Memtest 86, P95 Large FFTs... added voltage, loosened timings, you name it, I bet I've tried it...
Both rigs are triple channel. I've swapped a high end kit into my main rig and booted them beyond what they've ever been on the gaming rig: 1866Mhz @ 1.65v - in the gaming rig I never had them or could get them beyond 1333MHz when lowering the strap and overclocking them. They were at 1200MHz from the 201 Bclk and they've ran fine at tight timings (6.6.6.15) too but up until recently when they were in the game rig, I was getting BSOD.
My findings of them are not exactly apples to apples but the general results show them to be doing fine at 1866MHz & 1.65v The part that kills me is that I ordered 3 kits today to replace what I thought have to been failing.
p.s. I haven't tested out the other kit in my game rig yet
