just liek they said, DONT condemn a race based upon the actions of a few!

if you believe that is ok, then you might as well forget about an apology about being called a bigot. you say that you are open minded, but here you are showing an instance of hipocracy. so lets say this person was of "non-minority". then you would think to yourself that you should be careful in general, but because they WERE a minority, you believe that you will be more careful around "his people". i find it sad that you dont understand this

In a way I have to agree with Ornery, id probably feel the same, and im not a bigot nor racist nor prejudist. Its called human nature, if a snake bites you, you will stay away from all snakes.

bigdude39 asked if Prejudice in America could be eradicated or not. He seemed to think it was a far fetched notion. I agree. It is human nature.

Somebody do me a favor and find out who the black official was that said being followed by a black stranger made him more nervous than being followed by a white stranger. It was either a judge or lawyer or some kind of public official. I couldn't find the quote anywhere and I searched hard. I KNOW I heard this!

My point is that he had a right to be nervous. Call it prejudice, or stereotyping or profiling, but the guy ain't being a bigot. Neither am I. Or if I am, then he is too. Damn it, I need that quote bad. Or somebody back me up that you heard the same thing, please. :(
