Preferred Boot Sequence?

Carbo

By default, my BIOS reads: CD-ROM, floppy, hard drive. Is this standard, and have some of you tried rearranging this sequence?

Carbo- I assume you are getting ready to load WIN2K on your system. WIN2K can be booted from the CD so you will want to leave your boot sequence starting with your CD-ROM. After you successfully load you OS and have things up and running, you can switch your boot sequence to start with your HDD (or SCSI device if you have your boot drive is SCSI) and your system will not waste time during boot in seeking out a CD in CD-ROM.

A, RAID 0

I should probably change it to RAID only as I almost never boot to the floppy. Having it set to boot to a CD chews up startup time (at least on my system) because it pauses to give you time to start from a CD.
