Predictions for St. Pierre/Diaz?

I honestly believe there is a 5% chance Diaz will win by a submission and a 95% chance he will just fail miserably against GSP's methodical style.

GSP will wrestlefuck him, Nick's a good fighter but most of his opponents were mid-tir at best. While he could win this fight, it would be a huge upset. I think GPS is going to have his way with him, and honestly the fight I'm most interested in watching is Condit Vs Hendricks. That has the potential to be fight of the night. Johnny's sick but Carlos is too.

I suspect if Nick loses it will be by decision and he'll scowl and bitch about it like he did after he fought Condit. He fights best when fighters play into his style and try to stand and bang with him. GPS isn't that stupid, and Diaz doesn't adjust well, not at least by how he looked against Condit.

Best senario for me would be Nick losing and his next fight being a rematch against Lawler or Noons. I'd like to see Robbie get revenge. And I'd like to see Noons clown him like he did the 1st time they fought.

I don't doubt that GSP's will dictate the fight, but I don't see him staying on top of Diaz. Diaz has a pretty strong BJJ ground game, and he sounded like he was eager to use it against Georges, so that could be trouble for GSP. I do see GSP using his exquisite take downs, but I wonder if he would then try to stand up and rain down punches?

GSP via decision. Most boring fighter ever. Don't ever try to finish a fight, just neutralize.

But, rooting for Diaz, big time!

My vote is for anyone but Diaz; I've never been fond of his lack of sportsmanship in the octagon.

I got GSP on this one. I'm not a fan of his fighting style, but I can't stand Nick Diaz. I wanna hear what excuse Diaz will use this time when he loses.

GSP could absolutely destroy Diaz with his all world striking ability. Yes I know the Diaz's have outstanding boxing but GSP is a well rounded striker which always wins in the end.

Hopefully GSP will go back to that hungry guy that destroyed his opponents instead of outpointing them.

i would say GSP destroyed kosh. GSP does not really have KO power but he lays a damn good beating on people and receives very little. Not to mention dominates the fight in stand-up or on the ground.

I suspect GSP is going to dominate all 5 rounds in this fight. BUT i wonder if he is going to stand with diaz or take him down. either way diaz is dangerous.

should be a good fight.

I'm thinking Diaz will get KO/TKO'ed.

Welterweight division is so stacked... it's hard for me to really root for anyone though since they are so evenly matched skill wise and all have boring media personalities.

I like both guys, but I think I'd rather see Diaz win. I dont know why. Just for a change I guess. Anyways, he probably wont win though, he's a 6 to 1 dog in vegas. I havent seen odds that high on a big ticket ufc fight in a while, except for the female fight where Rousey was a 11 to 1 favorite.

I really hope Diaz wins as unlikely as it may be, I can't stand GSP's lay n pray bullshit. He's a great fighter and athlete but he doesn't do anything with it fuck wrestlefuck everyone to the most boring 25 min victory ever. Then apologizes to his fans saying it will be better next time, again.

WAR DIAZ!

Not a fan of GSP's methodical style of winning fights by decision and hoping that Diaz gets a win but think GSP will score take downs and lay on top of Diaz without ever looking for a finishing move.

Maybe Diaz can sink a submission from the bottom but GSP is too disciplined to give him an opening as GSP rarely takes chances.
