Bush broke Iraq far beyond repair. I don't know if it will ever be a functional entity again. Biggest foreign policy blunder in American history. Worse than Vietnam IMHO.

Maybe not worse than the overthrowing of legitimate democracy in Iran.

But whoever hears about that? :hmm:

It was a big factor in the religious fanatics taking the country over and chanting death to America. They went so far as to storm our embassy that the plot was being concocted in. I guess they hold a grudge?

Or maybe they're just backwater fanatics we need to bomb. :hmm:

He is at 4th place but he will do better once the others drop out and coalesce around trump. Stealth mode will end next time.

If you consider fourth place "flavor of the day".
I picture Jeb! leading a parade of people chanting "We also ran! We also ran!"

Well . . . a small, sad parade. But with very nice gift bags. $2,888 each in Iowa if memory serves.

No more Bushes. No more Clintons either, but we've already had TWO Bushes.

I heard that Jerry Mathers was going to be bush's running mate when he wins the nomination.

Their slogan will be "Bush and Beaver we can't be beat. Bush and Beaver we're real neat!"

I've got a riddle for everyone.

Who's named Jeb! Bush and won't be nominated and win the next presidential election?

\anyone want to take a guess?

And this is why I did not even cast a vote for this poll. Politics is too complex to predict without a lot of research and analysis, and even then it is often off, from just inaccurate to nowhere even near on the same planet.

I was convinced Jeb would win, boy was I wrong. All that money didn't do shit for him.

From day one Jeb! looked like he was only doing it because he thought he had to. I'm not sure his heart was ever in it and I suspect that a few years from now when insiders begin to tell the story it will be revealed, much as we imagined, that Jeb! was put up to it by the R insiders that wanted another puppet in the White House.

I'd long thought Jeb! was the smarter of the two and maybe he is, but that's not saying much now is it.

In the end not even the Republican faithful couldn't stomach another Bush. Well, he does still have a personal fortune of many millions so I don't think he'll be hurtin.

This puts it down to Trump, Cruz and Rubio and man I'm not sure which of these qualifies as the lesser of the three evils.

Gee, I don't know about that, Wally. "Ward, hope you weren't too hard on the Beaver"
