We can spend less than 10% of that to have ukraine do half of that for us. For 10% of our military budget we can help build an ally in ukraine or abandon them and have to fight them in a decade when Putin forces them to fight Poland.
We don't need Javelin missiles or HIMARS here. We can give 90% of them to Ukraine as Mexico and Canada will never invade us. Any war we fight will be by Air and Sea.

Exactly, instead of maintaining military that can wage war on China and Russia at the same time, we can help Ukraine destroy Russian military with their troops, and then just need to maintain a military strong enough to take China and a much weaker Russia.

Russia invaded Ukraine, a fucking fledgling democracy and the U.S. is supplying some of the weapons to defend themselves, not to attack Russia. Trump set back our efforts on China by a decade or more and went far to destroy our credibility with countries in the region. Countries we need alliances with if you want to deal with China effectively.
