Obama and Romney run a TIGHT race with Romney winning the national popular vote by 2%. . and having california give all 55 electoral votes to romney, thus depriving obama of his beloved liberal paradise!!! can't wait for the lulz!

No way on earth does Romney carry California. Who was the last Republican to do that?

california changed how it hands out electoral votes. . .. all 55 go to the winner of the national popular vote . . . 😀

The change in electoral vote distribution won't occur unless the change is made for most of the country.

This bill would ratify a specified interstate compact that requires the chief election official of each signatory state to appoint the slate of presidential electors that was nominated in association with the presidential ticket that received the largest national popular vote total.
This compact would only become effective if states cumulatively possessing a majority of the total electoral votes have ratified the compact.

weak i just re-read that too! fsck this california, throwing my vote away with a "winner takes all" instead of a proportional award. .

So, I'm guessing that based on this new information, you no longer agree with the ridiculous OP?

Regardless of who wins, business as usual.

As for the election, obama wins the popular vote, romney wins the electoral vote.

Blacks feel that they have been cheated out of the election, results in wide spread civil unrest and riots.

I'd take that bet (you say Romney wins, I say Obama) for $50.

well realizing my error in reading the article, i think while it's going to be close Obama is going to win and destroy our country. . . sad as it is. I'm not voting for Romney anyway, nor Obama
