I am predicting a 7.0 EQ between Japan and California within the next week. My predictions are based on science. If I had to be more specific, I would predict the earthquake off the coast of California. My predictions will prove to be true.
A 10.0 quake is simply not very likely off California, the rocks there simply are not that strong. And hence will break well before that much stress is built up.
Other than that, earth quake prediction is far from an exact science. Ten or so years ago the Japanese thought they knew a thing or two, but since then they have found out how very little they knew.
But I am just an amateur so I will not pretend to make valid predictions, even if I am interested in the subject.
Missed it by --> <-- that much...

NOT off the coast of California nor Japan...but it WAS over 7.0...it just happened 2 days ago.
If this does not happen, you may not make lifer for a while.
It could be considered to be a callout or troll thread - both are able to result in lost of posting privileges.
No, no no! 7.19.I'm thinking it will be more like a 7.4, I've come to a similar calculation according to my simulation program. (Sim City 2000)
AFAIK, a 10.0 has never happened on planet earth, at least in the last 10,000 years.A 10.0 quake is simply not very likely off California, the rocks there simply are not that strong. And hence will break well before that much stress is built up.

I think this parody of dmcowen has already been done.

This isn't original, seems this is a high probability time from multiple sites:

Would have been more interesting if the OP had just posted his sources.
