For what it's worth, chaos doesn't equal random... rather, it *seems* random. Although, I suppose, the outcome is the same.
As far as spinning a wheel to generate random numbers.. I truly don't think that would be an accurate random number generator. I would think that there would be a natural tendency to spin the wheel with almost the same amount of force each time. As soon as you intentionally start varying the force, you are controlling the force, and thus have removed the randomness. i.e. If the first 2 spins made approximately 3 1/4 spins, then numbers in the neighborhood of 1/4 of the way past the previous number would be more likely. While humans like to think they're capable of randomness, in the long run they become somewhat predictable.
