A some years back before multi-core processors came to the PC I had read an article in a tech magazine that predicted multi processor systems becoming the future. Looking back that guy nailed it.

Can anyone link to some decent articles with predictions/timelines on where hardware is heading?
 
intel and AMD both publish road maps for what they are going to be releasing in a few years, just look at their road maps and you can get a pretty good idea of what they are planning to sell 😀
